Hi there, I'm Jeremy.

I Create

I Create

I Create

You are, always and forever, in the moment of pure creation. The point of life is therefore to create - who and what you are, and then to experience that.
— Neale Donald Walsch, "The Complete Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue"

Whenever I get the common "so, what do you do?" question, my answer is "I'm a creator". I choose this because I believe it properly encompasses what I do, and really what we all do as human beings. We are always in the moment of creation - every word we say, thought we have and action we take creates reality as we know it, whether we're conscious of it or not.

My favorite channel for creativity is through art. I've had the pleasure of building large scale art, and, more recently, smaller art for the home. Check them out:

Activated Art

I created Activated Art to share my own inspirations and creations with all who resonate with them. Every piece is made to send beauty, love, and inspiration out into the world and inspire others to pursue their passions and let their light shine for all to see.

Ascension | Rising in Love

Ascension is a twenty-foot tall climbable sculpture that creates a space for us to reimagine what it means to love others by first loving ourselves.

Womply

In addition to art, I spent half a decade creating a business called Womply. I co-founded Womply in 2011, and over nearly 5 years helped grow it to 100 employees and over 30,000 brick and mortar merchant customers. Throughout my time there, I played key roles across product development, marketing, operations, sales, business strategy, and hiring. Today, Womply employs over 250 people and is one of the fastest growing merchant-focused companies in America, having raised a $30 Million Series B.

MIT

Before Womply, I was a Mechanical Engineering student at MIT, where I got my bachelors degree. For my senior thesis I designed and prototyped a little machine that could print high resolution images on top of foamy beverages!

I also co-authored a patent with my dad while I was in high school.

I Teach

I Teach

I Teach

I've always had a unique viewpoint about life compared to those around me, and as a result, I've done a lot of... unique... things over the years. I love to step outside of my comfort zone to see what's over the horizon, and while it can be scary, in my experience life is best lived continuously learning and growing in this way. I truly believe there are no limits.

While I've gained a good amount of knowledge about how I think life is best lived, I never considered myself a teacher until recently. I began to see that in many of the conversations I would have, the points of views that I would offer were very powerful in helping people think through the challenges they're currently facing in life and in business. A mentor of mine suggested I start coaching, and once I started I immediately fell in love with it.

One of my biggest passions is to help people embody achieve their biggest goals, and that's what I do with my partner, Gigi, through Awakened Founders.

I flow

I flow

\flō\ | noun: a way of life

Life ought to be lived as a bird flies through the air or as a fish swims in the water. As soon as there are signs of elaboration, a man is doomed, he is no more a free being.
— D.T. Suzuki, "An Introduction to Zen Buddhism"

If I had to choose one word to describe my approach to life, it would be "flow", a term coined by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, who literally wrote the book on it. For me, flow is a way of life, and the quote above about living life as a bird flies or fish swims resonates deeply. When I'm in flow, I'm exactly where I need to be and everything is happening as it should. Time becomes irrelevant and I'm simply being my being.

My purest moments of flow arise when I'm creating something that my soul yearns to be brought into existence. This is how Ascension came to be, and that was one of the most magical creation processes I've ever been a part of.

Spinning poi or Dragon staff are other ways I love achieving flow. These, like juggling and many other forms of prop manipulation, are literally called "flow arts" because they're great at helping us get out of our heads and into our bodies. Hours turn into minutes when flowing with these fun props.

Meditation, running, and yoga are also part of my regular practice. All of these activities, mental and physical, work together wonderfully to help me stay balanced and in flow as much as possible.
